Where two slopes meet · Metro Detroit
Valleys carry more water than any other part of a shingle roof. When metal pinholes or woven shingles fail, stains show up after every heavy rain. Partial valley rebuild $850–$1,250; full run $42 per linear foot — published in the price book.
What’s included
Failed section opened, new ice-and-water membrane, metal or woven shingles restored — typically $850–$1,250.
Entire valley stripped and rebuilt at $42/lin ft when the whole run is spent.
Before/after photos on every job. Flashing and valley work carries our five-year written warranty.
Debris, shade, and freeze-thaw hit valleys harder than the open field. Caulk and roof cement over a pinhole fail again within a season. We rebuild the detail so water sheds the way the roof was designed.
If the surrounding field shingles are truly done end-to-end, we’ll say so with photos. We still won’t sell a replacement — repair-only is the point of this company.
